FILTRATION SYSTEM FOR AVIATION
TURBINE FUEL

HAL Tejas of Indian Air Force

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) periodically overhauls all aircrafts. HAL used a Russian filtration system to achieve GOST Class 6 (equivalent to NAS 4) cleanliness levels of the aviation turbine fuel (ATF) used to flush the fuel tanks of these aircraft. Panchsheel, with its technical expertise, developed and replaced filters for their existing Russian filtration system while adhering to GOST Class 6 cleanliness levels.

HAL acknowledged the superlative performance by entrusting the entire responsibility of setting up a new filtration system for their new hangar to Panchsheel instead of the Russian manufacturers. And Panchsheel delivered indigenous filtration systems for ATF without compromising on quality. To date, the company has supplied three identical filtration systems to HAL.
